Hot Lunch

Hot Lunch is a twice‑weekly mostly vegan and gluten‑free meal served on campus during the fall and winter semesters. We suggest bringing a pay‑what‑you‑can cash donation or a non‑perishable food item, however, no student will be turned away due to lack of funds.

Hot Lunch happens every Tuesday and Thursday at 2:30 pm in the Lambert Lounge at 100 McCaul, Room 187 (First Floor). The Fall 2023 program will run from September 19 - December 14, 2023.

Social Justice Library

The Student Union is dedicated to creating safe spaces that are inclusive and welcoming. We aim toward deconstructing colonialism, capitalism, misogyny and all the -isms, addressing continued systemic oppression. The Social Justice Library will work towards our mandate by educating and creating conversations with students about social justice, diversity, equity, race, gender, and sexuality in a safe and inclusive space. The Library features books, zines, and other texts and is located inside the OCAD SU office.

We also offer digital access to the library on Librarika. This guide will help you to register and access our books online.

Safer Sex Supplies

We offer safer sex supplies in the OCAD Student Union office, available for free and on a no‑assessment basis. Please drop by and help yourself. In the event that we have run out or our office is closed, the Student Wellness Centre also stocks these supplies.
