Dhiviya Prabaharan(any pronouns) is a queer Tamil diasporic multi-disciplinary artist and cultural worker based in Tkaronto, Dish with One Spoon Treaty Territory. They come from Tamil lands - Oor Mel Azhagiyaan + Ponni Tenkasi, Tamil Nadu and Chulipuram + Maviddapuram, Yalpanam, Eelam. Many lineages of knowing and being shape the ways Dhiviya sees the world - all these lineages connect back to the land. They practice creation as a site of ceremony + ritual remembrance of land based ancestral wisdom.
Dhiviya is currently an undergraduate student in Material Art and Design (MAAD) at OCAD university and the Outreach Coordinator at the OCAD Student Union.
